Messages in a Bottle

I created this website with the "message in a bottle" metaphor in mind as I throw my Old Testament Commentary out into the ocean of billions of internet users to see who will find it and respond.  If you want to talk, please email me.

I love the greater depth and meaning of the Old Testament in Hebrew.  Pictographic Hebrew is even more meaningful to me.  Most importantly, through understanding the language more and more, I see Jesus Christ as Creator and Redeemer throughout the Old Testament.  I believe in Jesus Christ, who is everything to me, and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I have friends of many faiths and denominations and enjoy open, honest conversations with anyone who is seeking truth, as I am.

This commentary is only through Genesis 4.  I am working on chapter 5 but am not in any hurry, and I make minor revisions to chapters 1 through 4 often.

If you want to post something of your own on this website, please email me about that.

I enjoyed receiving a few messages in the past couple of weeks.  Thanks for your input!  As the messages I receive become more frequent I will add a comment section.

Question:

I have been talking with friends lately about the following question:  Jesus often had multiple audiences and applications, including last days audiences and applications in the parables He taught.  Some of His parables have obvious last days intended audiences and applications.  What parables do you think have last days intended audiences and applications that aren't quite as obvious?
